1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Talaka mobile application ("App") or accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Talaka is an AI-powered English learning application that provides personalized lessons, speaking practice, and feedback using artificial intelligence technologies. The App is provided on a "freemium" basis with optional paid subscriptions.

3. AI Disclaimer

Our Service utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to generate content, analyze speech, and provide feedback. While we strive for accuracy, AI systems may occasionally produce incorrect, misleading, or biased information. By using Talaka, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Accuracy: Educational content and feedback generated by AI should be used as a guide and may not always be 100% accurate.
• No Professional Advice: The App is for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional linguistic or translation advice.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Talaka offers auto-renewing subscription plans (Weekly, Monthly, Yearly) that unlock premium features.

• Payment: Payment will be charged to your iTunes or Google Play Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
• Account Charging: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen package.
• Cancellation: You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings on your device after purchase. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
• Free Trial: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

• Generate or transmit content that is abusive, harassing, hateful, violent, or sexually explicit during AI interactions.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.
• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its original content, features, and functionality (but excluding content provided by users), is owned by Talaka and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
